Big Laugh Comedy Festival presents You Say Potato, I Say Die
Our favourite student comedians The 3rd Degree have gone off to the Ten Network with their new TV show The Ronnie Johns Half Hour but The Big Laugh continues to uncover new generation campus comedy talent with the Best Student Revue of 2005.
The Big Laugh made a decision three years ago to support student revue nationally with 'Best Of' shows adapted from hundreds of hours of scripts culled from revues around Australia. There had been a distinct absence of high quality writing and performing on campus. It had been a decade or more since a campus comedy group escaped to television. Success came for The 3rd Degree company faster than in their wildest dreams and The Nice Guys are likely to be absorbed into TV success with some of the best sketch writing around in their show.
